Frida Gustavsson chanelles subtle and quiet beauty in the latest issue of Vogue Japan photographed by Boo George. Set at the country side, Frida sports bohemian yet elegant looks arranged by Havana Lafitte from brands including Givenchy, Haider Ackermann and Céline.

For the latest issue of Dazed and Confused called the Tribes Issue, Jeff Bark shot the cover story starring Catherine McNeil as the centre of a hedonistic feast is wearing Chanel couture styled by Robbie Spencer, and joined by a cast of other models. Divine comedy, as the story is called find its inspiration in the medieval times however glamorous with a decadent scenery to really capture a sense of carelessness.

At the Tribecca film festival this weekend, the documentary called The Director premiered portraying the historic view of the 90 year old house of Gucci and its current creative director Frida Gianni. Over a period of three years, the diretor Christina Voros followed the team on fittings, shows and the general design process of Gucci with Gianni in the lead. Actor James Franco has as house model since 2009 scoring a main role both on and off set as being close friends with and the connection between the director and the designer. Justin Bieber is in Stockholm for a couple of performances, and apparently shoppers were affected with bieberfever when the stars crew decided they needed to do some urgent shopping at G-Star for the last show. According to various sources Bieber is a hugh G-Star fan and bought 5 different outfits while the store had to close due to people queing outside to get a glimpse of Bieber.

First presenting a couture collection in 1998, Viktor & Rolf after five shows decided to refocus on ready-to-wear. But that is about to change. The Chambre Syndicale de la Couture, the body that governs who can call themselves a couture house has voted to make Viktor & Rolf to become members (even though they are based in Amsterdam). When the first show is taking place is yet unconfirmed however, but let’s hope that they will share some of that theatrics they are known for in Paris during couture week in July.
